For Road & Track Magazine’s story on the 2022 Performance Car of the Year, I was asked to show their test route in upstate New York. They asked that I draw inspiration from old USGS topographic maps, and I spent a long while trying on the fine details needed to capture that look.

This has subtle paper texturing, misalignments between the colors to simulate old printing errors, and a variety of fun patterns and line styles that I don’t otherwise use often.
