I’ve always loved the look of Isotype maps and charts, and I’ve occasionally tried my hand at them for fun. An important part of their look, to me, is not just the shapes/colors/typography, but also the halftones. With a generous helping of Photoshop, I’ve tried to simulate what these might look like if they were printed in an earlier era.
