The Ways of the Framers
Names upon the Urban LandscapeSelected for the 2012 Atlas of Design
I live in Madison, Wisconsin, where many of the streets are named after the people who created and signed the US Constitution — a group commonly known as The Framers. Borrowing an idea from the fabulous typographic maps sold by Axis Maps, I decided to label some of Madison’s streets using the actual signatures of the people they were named after.
